Devon County Council have launched a formal consultation on the future of the library service in Devon. This is a crucially important time for local libraries across Devon. The council have commissioned Libraries Unlimited to run 50 public libraries in their area, and they want as many people as possible to have their say and help shape how services are delivered in future. Devon County Council are inviting you to give your views on Devon’s libraries now, the proposed changes to the library service, and any alternatives you may wish to propose. You do not need to be a library member to complete the consultation, it is open to everyone. This consultation is open until Sunday 22 February 2026. All feedback will be collated and used to inform a new libraries strategy.  https://devon.cc/your-libraries
